Hit Series “RuPaul’s Drag Race” to Launch New Season Exclusively in the App on Monday, February 17, Along With Never-Before-Seen Countdown Special of the Most Outrageous & Heartfelt Moments from the First Five Seasons Available Exclusively on the App Beginning Today
New York, NY, January 30, 2014 – Logo TV, Viacom’s television, digital and social brand focused on the LGBT community, today debuted its first video app that features a large library of LGBT focused films, as well as TV Everywhere authenticated access and co-viewing tied to its programming. Beginning today, fans will be able to download the new LogoTV App for free on iPhone and iPad. Additionally, Logo TV will premiere the first episode of the new season of its hit series, “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” exclusively in the app on February 17 (sans the elimination), a week before its television premiere on February 24 at 9pm ET/PT. To commemorate the launch, the app today exclusively premiered a 30-minute countdown special of the moments that have defined the series.

At launch, a few of the critically acclaimed titles for streaming will include “Children of God,” “Were the World Mine,” “I Love You Phillip Morris,” “Latter Days,” “Dorian Blues,” and “Noah’s Arc: The Movie.” T he LogoTV App will add new titles regularly.
In addition to an extensive library of LGBT-centric movies, the app provides fans unmatched access to a library of Logo TV’s programming including current episodes and full seasons of hits like “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” “The A-List: New York,” “Noah’s Arc” and “WHAT!? Logo Documentaries.” Beginning today, fan can exclusively stream “21 1Ž2 Moments that Made Us Gag,” which is packed with unseen footage and insider insights featuring RuPaul, Michelle Visage, former contestants and journalists who countdown the most outrageous, shocking and heartfelt moments from the first five seasons of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and “All Stars.”
All users will be able to access unique content that extends the narrative of the show, including after shows, cast interviews and original webisodes. In addition, the app will offer a LGBT resource center that features inspiring and informative content including coming-out and “it gets better” stories.
The app will offer a new co-viewing “Connect” experience that will filter the best tweets from Twitter and allow fans to discuss their favorite shows and characters in real time with other fans or with the show’s cast on the app or via Facebook.
